'Dandinghe' is a variety of flower commonly known as "Red-crowned Crane." It has red flowers in a rose-like shape, with a diameter of approximately 18cm and a length of 6cm. The outer petals are arranged in three layers, large and rounded, with slightly toothed edges and a smooth and glossy texture. The inner petals are sparser and have dark purple spots at the base. The stamens show some petal-like transformation, while the pistils become smaller. The plant has a semi-upright growth habit. It features medium-sized, rounded leaves that are soft in texture and have a greenish color with purple markings along the edges. The back of the leaves is covered in fine hairs, and the stems are soft and slightly drooping. It exhibits vigorous growth and has a high rate of flowering, producing vibrant flowers. However, it is not particularly tolerant of direct sunlight. It blooms during the mid-season. This variety was cultivated in the Baihua Garden in Heze in 1970.
